Ealing Trailfinders Cricket Club – a force in Middlesex cricket

A warm welcome to Ealing Trailfinders Cricket Club.

Located at Trailfinders Sports Club in leafy West Ealing, we offer some of the best facilities in Middlesex. We run two league adult sides on Saturdays in the Middlesex Championship and a 3rd XI. Our aim is to play County League Cricket within the next 5 years. We also play a social Sunday side. Our Colts Section currently offer cricket for anyone aged 6 to 13 years.

Management committee

The Management Committee is responsible for overseeing the administration of the club and its development. They also look after the adult and colts cricket as well as all the development and finance of the club.

Ealing Trailfinders Cricket Club is managed in accordance with the club’s Constitution. The Management Committee and adult team captains are elected by the members at our Annual General Meeting when reports on the year, including the annual accounts, are presented.

Colts ManagerPrimary contact for the Colts. Manages the Colts Committee
Schools/Club Coaching CoordinatorResponsible for schools/club coaching programmes

There are other non-committee roles that report periodically on matters to the main committee.

Colts Committee

Responsible for handling all matters related to the colts:

Playing Committee

The Playing Committee is responsible for handling all matters with relation to the adult teams and it is made up as follows:

  • Club Captain
  • Other team Captains
  • Fixture Secretary

All of these duties are carried out voluntarily – the incumbents do it for the benefit of the club.

Our play on the field is important, but so is our play off the field. We look to have regular social events such as BBQs, quiz nights and curry nights throughout the year.

At the end of the year we also hold our Presentation Evening.

Ealing Trailfinders Cricket Club play at the beautiful Trailfinders Sports Club, with some of the best cricket facilities in West London. The new cricket pavilion recently constructed in 2013 to ECB standards provides excellent facilities for club members. Complete with separate changing rooms, showers, WC and padding up areas for home and away teams; along with a dedicated changing room and WC for the umpire, There is a kitchen and bar counter for preparation of tea’s and snacks, function area and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The pavilion is child friendly and has disabled access and disabled toilet.
The spacious verandah and outside seating makes for a perfect place to while away a summers afternoon or evening.

Our cricket square is immaculately kept by full-time groundsmen and is fully equipped with scoreboard and sight screens, with bleachers to watch the match. We have 3 new outdoor practice nets with an artificial surface and bowling machine. There is ample free parking at the Club.

Private Hire

Overlooking the playing fields of Trailfinders Sports Club the cricket pavilion makes an attractive venue for private hire, perfect for small summer parties, corporate team building and company cricket or softball matches. Trailfinders Sports Club is able to provide a high standard of catering and a wide variety of menus to suit any occasion.
